Homicide at Mon Repos (St Lucia News)

Homicide at Mon Repos.

About 3:30pm on Friday 10 May 2013, Officers attached to the Micoud Police
Station responded to a report at Patience, Mon Repos.

On arrival, they received information that 27 year old Precious Ambrose of
St. Marie, Patience, Mon Repos was involved in an altercation with a known
individual when he received an injury to the neck area.

He was transported to St. Jude’s hospital via ambulance. He was pronounced
dead on arrival.

One man is currently in police custody. Charges are expected to be laid against
him shortly.

Homicide at Grass Street (St Lucia News)

Homicide at Grass Street.

About 5:45am on Monday 13 May 2013, Officers attached to the Criminal
Investigations Department received a report and as a result proceeded to
Grass Street, Castries and made certain observations.

Whilst on the scene, the officers received further information which led them
to the residence of 32 year old Sheldon Alvin Lewis at Leslie Land, Castries. He
appeared to have sustained stab wounds to the chest area.

He was transported to Victoria Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A
post mortem examination is scheduled for Tuesday 14 May 2013.

No one has been arrested in relation to this incident.

An investigation in the matter continues.
